Biocsol was pleased to take part in the IBMA Biocontrol Week, where our CEO Denis Payen contributed to a high-level CEO panel discussing the future of biocontrol towards 2030.
The discussion highlighted the strong momentum of the sector and the shared ambition to scale up sustainable crop protection solutions. Key topics included the need to adapt and simplify regulatory frameworks, strengthen training and support for distribution channels, and promote holistic, farm-level approaches to fully unlock the potential of biocontrol.
The panel also emphasized the importance of evolving evaluation approaches to accelerate product registration, alongside ensuring that biocontrol solutions deliver on three essential pillars: profitability for farmers, sustainability for agricultural systems, and security in terms of food production and regulatory trust.
Biocsol warmly thanks IBMA for the invitation and for organizing such a valuable platform for exchange. The event provided a great opportunity to align on common priorities and reinforce collaboration across the biocontrol ecosystem.
